Lea Michele anti ships it

TWEET #FINCHELFORNEVER

Yes, this is a Finchel hate blog, but really it’s a Finchel haters blog. This is a safe place where no Finchel shipping will be tolerated.

The pairing of Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry has enough supporters, allies, and canon material to handle itself- this blog is for everyone else.

No matter who you ship with Rachel or with Finn, as long as you don't ship them together, you are welcome here. (Though I anticipate a few rants against Finn himself, as past anti-finchel following has demonstrated.)

lolfinchel is a place where anti-finchelers can unite and fight against this horrific pairing. Happy anti-shipping! (Disclaimer: Replies and submissions posted here do not necessarily reflect my personal feelings towards ships or characters.)

The amount of Finchel in an episode correlates directly with how good an episode is.

but inversely instead of directly

you know that one ship

that one ship that you hate with every fiber of your being

with such a burning, white-hot fury that every time you think about them it’s like you can feel them under your skin, grating at your bones and you feel nasty and want to shower and at the same time want to punch holes in walls and flip all the furniture in the room over

yeah me fucking too

Due to the fact I don’t plan on watching further episodes of Glee-

I’m considering getting a lolfinchel co-admin. I know a ton of messages and submissions have sat unanswered or unposted for far too long, and with how upset I am with Glee right now, I know I’ll want to spend even less time working on it on my own. If anyone would like to apply to co-mod this blog, which would consist of posting asks and submissions, chuckling at haters, and knowing your shit about why F*nchel sucks balls, shoot me a message expressing interest.

that balloon is the perfect metaphor of rachel’s dreams going away the moment she said ‘yes’ to finn’s proposal…

Oh my gosh, someone seriously made this?
I try not to talk about this subject, but after seeing this, I feel I have to.
First of all, let’s be honest.  Broadway is unrealistic.  About one in a million people make it.  Maybe one in a billion make it big time.  And as Cooper Anderson said in “Big Brother,” theatre is dying out.  Lots of the newer Broadway musicals aren’t as good as the older ones, and it’s hard to attract fans to things that have been around for a while.  Most revivals don’t even last long.
Yes, Rachel Berry is very talented.  Yes, Lea Michele is very talented.  But having Rachel make it on Broadway would send a false message to the young viewers of the show.  Being talented and working hard does not guarantee your dreams.  I know I sound like a pessimist when I say this, but it’s a fact.  Students who get excellent grades often struggle at top colleges.
Blaming Finn on Rachel not caring as much about Broadway is just the Finchel haters looking for an excuse to hate on Finchel.  This Finchel hate has gone over the top.  Well, I thought it had a while ago, but that comment sparked a new high.  I’m tired of going through the Finchel tag and finding hate.  I don’t ship Finchel because it’s endgame.  If St. Berry or Puckleberry or Fuinn or any of the various crackships were endgame, I wouldn’t ship them.  But I don’t go around tagging them.  Unless I feel I have to, and now, I feel I have to.  Enough is enough.  We get it.  You don’t like Finchel.  I’m sure there’s lots of people out there who share your ship.  You can find just about anything on Tumblr.  Just don’t tag us in your hate.
I get that you’re frustrated your ship isn’t together.  When Finchel was broken up, we were too.  But going around picking on little things for Finchel won’t change what Ryan and co have planned.  They’ve instead proven time and time again that Finchel is the only one involving either of them that’s good for them.  They make each other happy, treat each other well, strengthen each other’s strengths, help ease each other’s weaknesses, tune down the unlikable qualities about each other and love each other.  What about the other couples involving those two?
Let’s see, shall we….
St Berry - Jesse encouraged Rachel in her fantasy, isolated her from the group, brought out/ egged on her worst qualities, played her and treated those around her badly
Puckleberry - Neither of them were into each other.  If I remember correctly, Rachel pictured Finn while making out with Puck.  And I don’t think they’ve had a single conversation that doesn’t involve being Jewish.
Fuinn - Again, Quinn was a bitch to Finn and treated others like crap.  All she cared about was winning prom queen.
Faberry - Doesn’t exist except in the minds of some fans.
Other crackships - see above.
If you think any of those would create a different outcome, you’re wrong.  Rachel would either eventually realize that Broadway isn’t going to happen, or she’d go to New York and find people who are better than her.
People talk about wanting Broadway Rachel back.  Do you want the girl who threw fits over not getting solos, wore unattractive clothes, talked too much, and was generally unhappy?  She’s so much happier now, so much more likeable, so much more mature.  To me, that’s because of Finn.
And also because there’s more in her life now than just Broadway.  I think this proves she’s happier and a better person when she’s multi dimensional.
It’s not like she just has Finn.  She has friends.  But what I’ve noticed is Rachel in her Broadway mode is when she’s at her worst.  (Her Barbra solos are among her worst.)  And Rachel in her Finchel mode is at her best.  (Her Finchel solos are among her best.)
I’m sorry you all don’t like what’s happening.  And I’m sorry if I sound like a bitch.  But I feel like all this needs to be said.

Hey gurl
You know they were joking when they said theatre was dying out right
and all those acting “tips” Cooper was giving them
those were jokes too
don’t do those.
Rachel Berry doesn’t have enough talent to get on Broadway?
Do you know who Lea Michele is?
The actress that plays the role of Rachel?
….
……..wait did you just say Lea’s Barbra numbers were her worst?

i would just like to take a moment and thank this horrific pairing for bringing the fandom together. the glee fandom used to a bunch of separate ship/stan entities, but now, we've all united & formed a family through our common sense disgust towards the pastry ship. we rarely see ship wars anymore, besides the battles against butthurt pastry shippers. not only that, the pastry ship has brought some joy back to watching the show, as we can only laugh at this terrible couple. so, thanks f*nchel

Hi,First, I love this blog. Second, I don't understand the appeal of *gags* finchel. I honestly have tried to see anything healthy or positive and ended up feeling stupid for it. I'm pretty sure that if Rachel and Finn were actual people there would have been some type of intervention by now.
Just a reminder to followers-

If you want your rant posted so that it’s rebloggable, PLEASE submit the post on the submit page and NOT in the ask box. If you want it anon, just sign out before you submit. I don’t know about anyone else, but I no longer have the ability to reblog asks, and I see a lot of great rants on here worth reblogging, so I don’t want you to miss out on the extra exposure!

Thanks!

If Rachel actually considers going to California with Finn, then that might just show that she loves him enough to give up her dreams. BUT does Finn love Rachel as much? I don't think so. Cause I can't remember a time that he gave up something that HE WANTED for her.
